Michigan-based Cornerstone University wants to sell its campus radio station.
The intended buyer is West Central Michigan Ministries.
The purchase price for WCXG(FM), Grand Rapids, Mich. is $1.5 million cash. The buyer was to deposit $75,000 in escrow.
Gear included in the sale includes a Nautel transmitter, Dielectric antenna, Orban processor, Sage EAS unit and Inovonics RDS encoder.
Excluded gear includes the tower and transmitter building and anything in that building, such as the emergency generator.
Class A WCXG has an ERP of 3,200 watts @ 243’ HAAT and operates on 89.7 MHz.
Jon Yinger of Broadcast Properties LLC was the exclusive broker representing both buyer and seller in this transaction.
