Streamline Publishing’s Radio Ink and the Radio + Television Business Report are pleased to announce the finalists for the prestigious 2024 Medallas de Cortez awards. The Medallas de Cortez awards recognize excellence in Hispanic radio programming, sales and management.

Named in honor of Raoul Cortez, founder of KCOR-AM in San Antonio, the first Spanish-language radio station in the United States in 1946, finalists are selected by an independent panel of judges following nominations by their peers.

Finalists will be honored and the winners will be announced at the Hispanic Radio Conference, scheduled for June 12-13, 2024 at the San Antonio Airport Marriott.

“The Medallas de Cortez Awards have recognized and celebrated the talents of the Hispanic Radio community for fifteen years,” said Deborah Parenti, President/Publisher of Radio + Television Business Report and Radio Ink. “We are proud of our finalists and the accomplishments and are excited to recognize them in this way each year.”
