A Class B AM serving an area of Ohio between Sandusky and Cleveland is about to change hands. For longtime listeners, however, a shift to an all-digital online platform has transpired, keeping the locally focused chat intact.
WEOL.com is the new home for the programming heard on WEOL-AM 930 and W262DM in Elyria, Ohio.
That’s because Elyria-Lorain Broadcasting Co. has agreed to sell the facilities to non-profit broadcast ministry St. Peter The Rock Media. Elyria-Lorain is led by CEO William Hudnutt.
A $100,000 purchase price has been agreed upon, with a $5,000 escrow deposit being held by legal counsel Putbrese, Hunsaker & Trent.
