Weigel Broadcasting Co., known for such brands as MeTV, Dabl and MOVIES!, is adding to its family of national digital multicast networks with the debut on September 29 of an offering focused on “the all-time greatest Western TV series.”
Introducing WEST, or “Western Entertainment Series Television.”
At its onset, it will be available in 15 of the Top 20 broadcast television markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Atlanta, Tampa, Phoenix, Detroit and Orlando. In total, some 46 DMAs covering 55.7% of the U.S. will have access to WEST on Monday.
WEST will also be made available on DISH channel 372.
Additional channels and carriage will be announced as available.
WEST joins a group of digital multicast networks that includes MeTV Toons, Start TV, Heroes & Icons, Catchy Comedy, MeTV+, and Story Television.
