Univision was the #4 broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS for the second consecutive week.

Univision was the #1 network among Adults 18-49 on Friday and for the 9th consecutive Friday ranked #1 among Adults 18-34 airing the top 2 most watched programs on broadcast television with #1 “Triunfo del Amor” (Triumph of Love) and #2 “Teresa.”

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every night last week among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Season-to-Date, Univision continues to post year-to-year primetime audience increases among Adults 18-49 (+8%) while the English-language broadcast networks are reporting audience declines (ABC -8%, CBS -8%, NBC -14%, and FOX -5%); Univision’s audience also increased among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%) and Adults 18-34 (+7%).

Compared to the same week a year ago, Univision’s audience continues to increase among Total Viewers 2+ (+15%), Adults 18-49 (+17%), and Adults 18-34 (+8%).
From 9PM to 11PM, Univision’s novela “Triunfo del Amor” garnered the #3 spot for the network this past week among Adults 18-49 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-34.

Airing “Teresa” from 8PM to 9PM, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network for the week among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.

On Saturday night, “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 (912,000) and Adults 18-34 (450,000).

On Sunday night Univision kicked off the 2011 Copa Oro with Costa Rica vs. Cuba airing at 6PM followed by  Mexico vs. El Salvador at 8PM.  Hosted by renowned Mexican futbol coach and former striker Hugo Sanchez and FIFA World Cup sportscaster Fernando Fiore, the matches made Univision the #3 broadcast network for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

The Mexico team victory against El Salvador attracted 4.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.8 million Adults 18-49, and 1.6 million Adults 18-34 viewers.  The 8PM match also ranked as the #4 sports telecast for the week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 out delivering the Stanley Cup finals and FOX baseball.
