In the current 2010/11 Season, TeleFutura Continues to Produce More Nightly Wins Over Telemundo versus the Same Period in the 2009/10 Season Among Key Demographics.


TeleFutura Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 03/07/11

TeleFutura generated 770,000 Total Viewers 2+, 454,000 Adults 18-49 and 258,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime last week.

 In the current 2010/11 Season, TeleFutura continues to generate more nightly wins over Telemundo during Broadcast Prime (M-Sat 8p-11p, Su 7p-11p) versus the same period in the 2009/10 Season among Adults 18-49 (63 nights vs. 49 nights) and Adults 18-34 (63 nights vs. 56 nights).

 Depending on the demographic, TeleFutura’s advantage over Telemundo during weekend broadcast prime ranged from +50% to +77%: Total Viewers 2+ (TF 854,000 vs. TEL 571,000; +50% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 540,000 vs. TEL 305,000; +77% Adv.)  and Adults 18-34 (TF 325,000 vs. TEL 186,000; +75% Adv.).

  On Saturday night (March 12, 2011 from 8pm-11pm), TeleFutura aired back-to-back soccer games “Fútbol Liga Mexicana: Pachuca vs. Atlante” and “Fútbol Liga Mexicana: Atlas vs. Guadalajara”, drawing significantly more Viewers 2+ (TF 703,000 vs. TEL 368,000; +91% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 447,000 vs. TEL 212,000; +111% Adv.)  and Adults 18-34 (TF 270,000 vs. TEL 116,000; +133% Adv.) than Telemundo’s “Fútbol Estelar: Tigres vs. San Luis” and “Persiguiendo Injusticias.”

 On Sunday night (March 13, 2011 from 7pm-11pm), TeleFutura’s primetime line-up that included  the special “Choques Extremos, ” followed by “Fútbol Liga Mexicana: America vs. Cruz Azul” and “Cine de las Estrellas: Cazadores de Fortuna” (“DIAMOND DOGS”) out-performed Telemundo’s prime time programming which included “Maravilloso Mundo de Disney: High School Musical 3” and “Cine Millonario:  Scorpion King Rise of the War” among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 967,000 vs. TEL 723,000; +34% Adv.) Adults 18-49 (TF 610,000 vs. TEL 375,000; +63% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 366,000 vs. TEL 239,000; +53% Adv.) by double-digit margins.
