Week 22: Telemundo out-delivered Univision in Sunday prime

Telemundo, a leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the world, today announced that the network was the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network in primetime on Sunday, February 20 (7-11pm) among Adults 18-49 (873,000), Men 18-49 (512,000), Adults 18-34 (548,000), Men 18-34 (294,000), Persons 12-17 (107,000) and Persons 2-11 (325,000).


This marks the fifth time this season that Telemundo has been #1 on Sunday night among Adults 18-49, Men 18-49, Adults 18-34, Men 18-34 and Persons 2-11. It is the fourth Sunday this season that the network has been #1 on Sunday night among Persons 12-17.
 
Telemundo out-delivered Univision in Sunday prime by +5% among Adults 18-49, +55% among Men 18-49, +20% among Adults 18-34, +52% among Men 18-34, +102% among Persons 12-17 and +88% among Persons 2-11.

Telemundo also out-delivered Telefutura by significant margins, including +49% among Adults 18-49, +49% among Women 18-49, +49% among Men 18-49, +65% among Adults 18-34, +76% among Women 18-34, +56% among Men 18-34, +60% among Persons 12-17, +83% among Persons 2-11 and +33% among total viewers (Persons 2+).
 
Telemundo’s movie lineup, featuring Ice Age 2: The Meltdown and Iron Man, easily out-performed Telefutura’s movie performance from 7-11pm, averaging more Adults 18-49, Women 18-49, Men 18-49, Adults 18-34, Women 18-34, Men 18-34, Persons 2-11 and total viewers (Persons 2+).
 
Both Telemundo movies also delivered more viewers than Univision’s Gran Estreno among Adults 18-49, Men 18-49, Adults 18-34, Men 18-34, Persons 12-17 and Persons 2-11.  Plus, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown averaged more total viewers (Persons 2+) and Women 18-34 than Gran Estreno.
