Good news on the trade deficit front and optimism that tax-cut legislation will clear Congress pushed stock prices higher on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 40 points, or 0.4%, to 11,410. Broadcasting stocks had a strong day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 5.985, or 2%, to an all-time high of 300.309.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.975, or 0.9%, to 214.050 – near an all-time high.
