In the analog television era, thousands of commuters could tune to 87.7 MHz in South Florida to listen to the audio feed of WTVJ-6, bringing Today to the car. Similarly, CBS affiliate WRGB-6 in Schenectady, N.Y., brought the audio of what was broadcast over the TV to the radio.
Now, in a bit of a throwback to those days, a FOX Television Station is bringing its audio to a HD multicast signal of an Atlanta FM — but on the right end of the dial.
