The calls are not issued by the FCC, but WADV Radio will be broadcasting once again as Advertising Week 2010 in New York kicks off September 22nd and continues through October 4th. For the second year, WADV, powered by Clear Channel’s iheartradio digital platform will be the official radio station of Advertising Week.

WADV’s digital feed previously radiated some solid sound bites from the likes of Coca Cola, Nike, Starcom MediaVest, Ogilvy, YES Network, Kayak and more. The station – available online and through the mobile iheartradio app – also covered such buzz-worthy events as:
Business Week’s Best Global Brands: Featuring Audi, Cisco, KFC and Microsoft executives;
Media Magazine’s Future of Media Forum: Featuring Martha Stewart, Mark Cuban and Wired editor-in-chief Chris Anderson; The CNBC Summit: Featuring Facebook, Guitar Hero and State Farm; and the USA Today Pulse of America Series: Featuring Dunkin’ Donuts and Southwest Airlines.

This year, says Clear Channel says, WADV is back – with a revamped format and roving on-site reporters – to provide the latest news and information, including interviews with industry decision makers and world class journalists interspersed with coverage of headlining events and panels.

From September 22nd through October 4th WADV can be found online at iheartradio.com, on the iheartradio app available on the iPhone, iPod touch, BlackBerry and Android devices, and on Advertising Week’s Web site as a live, streaming widget.
