Urban OneĀ has embarked on a research product with the goal to improve podcast ad technology to ensure equal monetization opportunities for all creators of audio content.


The research, the company explains, “will specifically address the industry’s generally limited brand safety technology capabilities” for consumers who identify as Black, Indigenous and “People of Color.”

The goal? To scale new solutions that enable advertisers to sponsor BIPOC audio content at a higher rate and with greater confidence, Urban One asserts.
