A licensee of low-power broadcast TV stations serving Lee and Collier Counties in Southwest Florida has made concurrent filings with the FCC seeking its regulatory approval for the sale of the properties to two distinct owners.
One of the owners is a major religious broadcasting ministry.
The seller is Fort Myers DTV, which is linked to the Guenter Marksteiner Revocable Trust. In the first deal, it has agreed to spin WZDT-LD in Naples, Fla., to Miles Ahead Media LLC.
That’s an entity led by Troy Miles, who is based in Louisville, Ky., and he’s getting the property for a mere $100. Serving as Miles’ legal counsel is Anthony T. Lepore.
The second deal involves Word of God Fellowship, operator of the Daystar media properties. This will make the Daystar parent the owner of WXDT-LD in Naples, Fla., in a deal valued at $500,000.
A $150,000 deposit has been made to Fort Myers DTV by WOGF.
