TuneIn Consolidates Local Radio Coverage Of COVID-19

In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, global streaming and on-demand audio service TuneIn is offering listeners a “Coronavirus News” channel, featuring “trusted community news via local radio stations searchable by state.”

Also in the mix: Dedicated COVID-19 podcasts and live breaking news from national networks including MSNBC, CNN, FOX News Talk, CNBC, and Bloomberg News.

“During this uncertain time when information is critical, listeners can access timely and important local, national and international health news and podcasts with TuneIn’s free service,” the streaming audio platform notes.

Voice assistant access is nearly universal, with TuneIn accessible via Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby and Cortana and across such devices as those from Sonos, Bose and Tesla.
