On February 20, a symposium host by NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises in Miami focused on the state of Hispanic-targeted broadcast media organizations saw a Democratic vote-maker at the Federal Trade Commission and his counterpart at the Federal Communications Commission briefly mention a “power grab” by the Trump Administration of their respective federal agencies.
Now, the FTC Commissioner is howling that he and his Democratic colleague have been unlawfully dismissed from their jobs by the president. Could the FCC be next for Trump, even with the upcoming resignation of the senior Democrat at the Commission?
