Townsquare Media shareholders have overwhelmingly approved the election of three individuals who will serve as members of its Board of Directors. One of the three individuals earning fresh three-year terms is a former Emmis Communications SVP who also oversaw broadcast radio properties for AMFM Inc. and Chancellor Media.

Casting their votes at the company’s May 9 annual shareholders’ meeting, the vast majority cast “For” votes for David Lebow, B. James Ford and Gary D. Way.

Each will serve as a Director for a three-year term expiring at the 2027 annual shareholders’ meeting.

Lebow is widely known for his experience in radio broadcasting. From 2002-2007 he served as EVP/GM of AOL Media Networks and is presently Chief of Staff at DraftKings.

Mr. Ford is the Chairman of FRD LLC, a merchant bank and family investment office. Mr. Ford has been a Senior Advisor of the Los Angeles Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2028 since 2016.

Mr. Way retired in October 2020 from his role as General Counsel of the Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE Inc., having served in such capacity since February 2017. Prior to his service at the Jordan Brand, Way served as a member of the NIKE Corporate Leadership Team from 2013 to 2017.

In related news, Townsquare shareholders overwhelmingly ratified the appointment of BDO USA P.C. as the company’s independent registered public accounting firm.
