Townsquare Media LLC, the company which owns and operates the former Regent group, announced several additions to its management ranks – and one retirement.
Alex Berkett was appointed Senior Vice President – Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions and will be responsible for identifying and executing strategic transactions and joint ventures.
Dhruv Prasad was appointed Senior Vice President – Strategy and Operations and will be working with regional and market-level leadership in Townsquare Media’s 13 media clusters nationwide to lead and implement strategic business initiatives.
Scott Schatz was appointed Vice President – Finance and Information Technology and will be involved in the Company’s finance, accounting, and information technology functions, helping to lead the financial strategy and technical infrastructure that will facilitate the Company’s growth plans.
Greg Yudkin was appointed Vice President and Controller and will manage the Company’s accounting functions at the corporate office in Connecticut.
Christina Frey was appointed Vice President and Project Manager – Digital Strategy and will be involved in crafting and executing the Company’s digital strategy.
Finally, after a distinguished 39 year career in the radio business, John King, currently Sr. Vice President – Operations, has chosen to retire and will be leaving Townsquare Media effective June 30, 2010.
Berkett, Prasad, Schatz, Yudkin and Frey join Chairman and CEO Steven Price and Executive Vice President and CFO Stuart Rosenstein, who joined the Company on May 3, 2010. Berkett, Prasad and Schatz are all veterans of FiveWire Ventures, as are Price and Rosenstein. Yudkin comes from CBS Radio and Frey from McKinsey & Company (and Sirius Satellite Radio before that).
