WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — The “local first” digital media and marketing company with its roots in broadcast radio has promoted from within to fill three newly created positions — roles that allow the NYSE-traded company “to tackle the numerous opportunities ahead.”

With the advertising industry rapidly evolving, Townsquare Media “aims to maximize success by evolving and improving both its management structure and its leadership team to set up for continued industry leading growth,” it said in a Tuesday morning announcement.

As such, a Chief Data Officer role now exists and will be held by Sr. VP of Data and Analytics Cristina Cipolla, a 12-year company veteran who has been in her present position since January 2022.

Concurrently, three-year Sr. VP of Sales Matt Kiger has risen to the position of Chief Revenue Officer for Local Media. He has been with Townsquare since March 2012. Both Kiger and Cipolla report to EVP/Chief Operating Officer Erik Hellum.

Townsquare’s Local Media operations include the digital media and broadcast radio platforms in 74 markets and are reported within our Broadcast Advertising and Digital Advertising segments.

Lastly, Kelly Quinn — Kiger’s counterpart as a three-year Sr. VP of Sales — will serve as  Chief Revenue Officer for Townsquare Ignite, the company’s in-house programmatic digital advertising unit.

Quinn, who has been with Townsquare Media since its May 2010 inception, reports to Ignite President Todd Lawley.
