NEW YORK — The next phase of an exclusive video podcast partnership between Netflix and iHeartMedia has commenced with the addition of a new collection of iHeartPodcasts.
This collection of on-demand audio programs include those featuring Kate and Oliver Hudson, Lele Pons and Martha Stewart, and they are launching as video shows on the global streaming service fingered by the NAB as a “Big Tech” giant unfairly taking dollars and audience away from radio operations such as iHeartMedia.
The agreement, says iHeart, includes all new episodes from the podcast lineup, as well as select library episodes from each show.
The shows “Suite 305 with Lele Pons,” “The Martha Stewart Podcast” and “Sibling Revelry with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson” join the following previously announced slate of podcasts:
“The Breakfast Club”
“Bobby Bones Presents: The Bobbycast”
“My Favorite Murder”
“Dear Chelsea”
“Joe and Jada”
“This Is Important”
“The Psychology of Your 20s”
“Behind the Bastards”
“Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know”
“Stuff You Missed in History Class”
“Stuff To Blow Your Mind”
“New Rory & MAL”
“3 and Out with John Middlekauff”
“Buried Bones”
The latest collection of podcasts will begin rolling out on Netflix in the coming months.
All podcasts will continue to be available on iHeartRadio and everywhere podcasts are heard.
iHeartMedia retains all audio-only rights and distribution for the shows included in the deal.
