Oregon-based Haystack Broadcasting is selling a “three-fer” in Washington State and Oregon.
KYYT-FM is licensed to Goldendale, Wa., near the Washington State border. Its associated FM translator is licensed to The Dalles, Ore. and KLCK(AM) is also licensed to Goldendale.
The buyer is Gorge Country Media.
The price is $725,000. At closing the buyer give the seller a promissory note for $395,000 with an annual 6% interest rate, to be paid in $3,333.23 monthly payments. The buyer assumes a tower lease and other debt as well.
KYYT is a Class C2 FM with an ERP of 2,100 watts @ 1,873’ HAAT, operating on 102.3 MHz.
KLCK is a Class C AM, transmitting 1,000 watts from a single tower. It uses a non-directional antenna and operates on 1400 kHz.
