Richard C. Yu, Joselyn T. Yu and Robert F. Kelly Jr., via there Choice Broadcasting Company LLC, are getting an AM and two FMs in the exotic yet still-regulated-by-the-FCC locale of the Northern Mariana Islands. KCNM-AM is licensed to Saipan, while KCNM-FM and KZMI-FM have dual community licenses to Garapan-Saipan. The price of the trio is $300K, which will go to seller Ed Poppe and his Inter-Island Communications.
RBR/TVBR observation: Our only regret is that we were unable to get company funding to head over and check out these facilities personally.
