Streamline Publishing’s Radio Ink has named her one of the “Most Influential Women in Radio” since 2005.

Now, she can be called President of Katz Radio Group.

Christine Travaglini, who has served as President of Katz’s Christal Radio division since 2008, has been selected to succeed Mark Gray in the role.

Gray rose to the role of CEO of Katz Media Group in March 2017.

As President, Travaglini will oversee all of the radio sales company’s operations nationwide, and is charged with driving overall business development and strategy of Katz Radio Group’s 14 regional offices across the U.S.

“Travaglini will lead the Katz team in driving maximum results for broadcasters and their advertisers through radio advocacy, innovative marketing solutions, and compelling data and insights,” Katz said.

Travaglini is the first individual to rise from an assistant to president within the organization.

Travaligni also serves as President of Katz Partnerships, the business development team “focused on deepening relationships with agencies and developing innovative campaigns for today’s big brands.” She has held this role since 2013 and will continue to lead both Katz Partnerships and Christal Radio.

“Christine is an incredible leader that not only has the respect of our team and senior leadership, but has also been a trusted partner for Katz’s clients for many years,” said Gray. “Her dedication and wealth of experience with the radio and advertising industry as well as her strong reputation for inspiring innovation and building winning teams will further Katz’s continued growth and advocacy efforts for radio, our partners and advertisers.”

Travaglini is an Executive Board Member of the RAB and is currently the Chair for the Alliance for Women in Media.
