Third Gulf Coast Oyster FM getting gobbled up

0

Clair and Richard Plessinger’s Oyster Radio just sold a pair of FMs in an unrated portion of coastal Florida not too far from Tallahassee (to the northeast) and Panama City (to the northwest). Now it has a deal to sell its third FM in the area.

The new deal is for WOYY-FM Eastpoint FL. It’s going to noncommercial Faith Radio Network Inc., headed by a quartet including Scott Beigle, Brenda Beigle, Charles Hill and John Cappelen.

Faith will pay $250K cash for the station. They are already active in nearby Tallahassee with WFRF-AM, licensed to the Florida capital, and WFRF-FM, licensed to Monticello FL.
The earlier deal, filed with the FCC just days earlier, was for WOYS-FM Apalachicola FL & WOCY-FM. That duo went to Bonnie and Kenneth Gomes and their 3G Broadcasting Inc. for $400K.
