The Rockin' 70's offering 40th Anniversary of Queen


On Labor Day weekend, Envision Radio Networks will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Queen with a special two hour broadcast of The Rockin’ 70’s featuring numerous tracks from the band’s catalog. Host Mark Zander will share the best of from the seven classic albums that Queen released during the ‘70s, mixed with the top cuts of ‘Keep Yourself Alive,’ ‘Tie Your Mother Down,’ ‘Bohemian’ Rhapsody’ and more.

Zander will dish up audio from the band members themselves – Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon. During their 40 years together, Queen released 18 number one albums, matched with 18 number one singles, selling an estimated 300 million albums worldwide. They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. The special will be available for broadcast August 31st through September 6th.
