It’s hardly a secret that The Harvard Club of the City of New York on Thursday, November 12, will prove to be an oasis of intelligent, insightful information designed to empower you and your C-Suite for business growth in 2027 and beyond. The Forecast conference agenda is fire, and this VIP symposium has always closed in grand fashion.

This year is no different, as the Executive Super Session, “The Future Starts Here: A Visionary Closing Conversation,” sponsored by Madhive, puts the leaders of Hearst Television, Audacy, Gray Media, and Townsquare Media in one conversation you won’t find anywhere else.

With Forecast Television Co-Chair Sandy Breland, Gray Media’s COO, moderating, Hearst Sr. VP and Hearst Television President Michael J. Hayes, Audacy Chief Business Officer Chris Oliviero, Gray Media President/Co-CEO Pat LaPlatney, and Townsquare Media CEO Bill Wilson will share candid, forward-looking insights on where radio and television are headed next year and beyond, and what it will take to win in a fast-changing media world.

When we say candid … we mean it. Forecast is poised be another five-star event with no media coverage — repeating our 2025 pledge to allow attendees to loosen their collars, share a little more and fully engage with their peers.

With Audacy CEO Kelli Turner and Gray Media Chief Operating Officer Sandy Breland as co-chairs of Forecast 2027, the perfect balance of radio and television industry intelligence has been seeded. The vines are ripening, with an economic outlook panel discussion opening the event. This sees Audacy Infinity Networks Senior Revenue Leader Jeanne-Marie Condo-Bucknell moderate a panel discussion with Cox Media Group VP of Local Revenue & Client Growth Danny Bortnick, Hearst Television VP of Revenue Jen Fortunato, BIA Advisory Services VP of Forecasting and Data Analysis Senan Mele, and WPP Media NA Executive Director of Channel Solutions Jen Soch.

That’s followed by a session moderated by radio industry icon Randy Michaels that takes a hard look at where capital is moving, what deals are likely to close, and who stands to win in 2027. Michaels chats with Kalil & Co. VP Jason Anderson, Collective Heads Partner Tim Dukes and Gray Media VP of Investor Relations Alan Gould.

How independent and small-market broadcasters are tackling the challenges local digital media has delivered in recent times will be the focal point of a session moderated by Kentucky Broadcasters Association President/CEO Chris Winkle that features such panelists as Bold Gold Media Group President Vince Benedetto, Vision Multi Media Group Manager and Principal Owner Sheila L. Brown, and Morgan Murphy Media COO Chris Cornelius.

Converged broadcast is also a topic on the comprehensive Forecast 2027 agenda, as that conversation is led by recently named NYSBA President Heidi Raphael and features Beasley Media Group CEO Caroline Beasley, AdCellerant co-founder/CEO Brock Berry, Graham Media Group VP of Technology Phil Brooks and Bonneville International President Tanya Vea. This session aims to reveal how forward-thinking broadcast groups are successfully merging back-end operations, offering attendees real-world strategies for building unified cross-platform newsrooms, retraining legacy sales forces to pitch bundled audio/video campaigns, and leveraging white-labeled digital tech and AI to maximize local market share.

And that’s all before a luncheon program including the Lifetime Leadership Awards presentations to retired CBS News Radio VP Harvey Nagler and soon-to-retire NBCUniversal Local Chairman Valari Staab and a just-added keynote conversation with NAB President/CEO Curtis LeGeyt. He’ll cover “The Future of Local TV and Radio” through a discussion led by Colorado Broadcasters Association President/CEO Justin Sasso. The two will cover advocacy, innovation, audience engagement, and what’s next in D.C. for broadcasters.
