Premion, the TEGNA-owned Connected TV/OTT advertising platform designed for regional and local advertisers, is partnering with GDB Brazil to bring its Octillion Demand Side Platform to the largest Portuguese-language market in the world.
As part of Premion, Octillion will, in Premion’s words, “drive the partnership’s mission to revolutionize connected TV and digital advertising in Brazil, offering advertisers enhanced targeting capabilities, greater transparency, and access to premium publishers and apps.”
The Octillion DSP is designed to cater to the rapidly growing digital landscape in Brazil, where ATSC 3.0 is part of the nation’s digital broadcast TV transition plan.
“With a focus on premium content delivery, Brazilian advertisers will now have the ability to target consumers on renowned streaming platforms, in a transparent and competitively priced manner,” Premion boasts.” As more consumers shift to streaming viewing and listening, the partnership enables GDB’s brand and agency advertisers to leverage the most effective channels for reaching their audience at scale.”
“We are thrilled to launch the Octillion DSP in Brazil through our strategic partnership with GDB,” said Gabe Greenberg, Founder of Octillion and Premion Chief Strategy Officer. “By combining our cross-channel-DSP with GDB’s robust data solutions, we’re providing Brazilian advertisers with an unparalleled tool for targeting and transparency, especially across leading streaming platforms.”
Acquired in 2024 by Premion, Octillion is a purpose-built DSP “powering the planning, buying, attribution and optimization tools for local and mid-market advertisers and agencies utilizing their proprietary tech stack.” It is a TAG/TrustNet certified transparent platform.
