Two months ago, the News Director for TEGNA-owned KING-5 in Seattle-Tacoma was announced as the new ND for Nexstar Media Group‘s KTLA-5 in Los Angeles.
Now, the company formerly known as Gannett has selected his successor.
Julie Wolfe will now hold the ND title at KING, starting June 21.
She will relocate to the Pacific Northwest from Louisville, where she’s served as News Director for WHAS-11, TEGNA’s ABC affiliate in the Kentucky city.

Wolfe succeeds Peter Saiers, while Carter is in role recently vacated by Jim Rose, as of Monday (5/17) now overseeing KRON-4 for Nexstar in San Francisco.
Prior to her role in Louisville, Wolfe spent more than a decade at WXIA-11, TEGNA’s NBC affiliate in Atlanta, exiting as Assistant News Director. She’s also worked in the news department at TEGNA’s WGRZ-2 in Buffalo.
