He started his career in radio as an Account Executive for a group of Greensboro-Winston Salem radio stations in 2007. Now, he’s been chosen to serve as Area President for iHeartMedia‘s newly consolidated South Carolina-Georgia region.
This expands Bobby Tatum‘s oversight to include 67 radio stations, in markets including Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and Florence, S.C.; and Savannah and Augusta, Ga.; in addition to other markets where iHeartMedia owns stations.
Tatum was Market President for iHeartMedia in Savannah before rising to Area President for several Georgia markets; he took the Savannah role in 2018. Tatum reports to iHeartMedia Division President Shosh Abromovich. She said, “I am incredibly excited to share that Bobby Tatum will be overseeing our newly formed South Carolina-Georgia Area as Area President.
