She’s the chief creative officer, Leo Burnett USA as this year’s Chief Judge for the 20th Anniversary Radio Mercury Awards competition. She’s also the first woman to serve as a Chief Judge for this competition.

“Susan brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to this year’s competition; she has a longstanding history of creating exceptional work” said Jeff Haley, RAB CEO and chair of the Radio Creative Fund.  “We have built serious inroads within the creative community over the last twenty years. Having someone of Susan’s stature ensures that the Radio Mercury Awards continues to raise the bar of creative excellence that we strive to set.”

Credle joined Leo Burnett USA as the agency’s Chief Creative Officer in September 2009. She joined the agency from BBDO New York, where she started her career and ultimately became Executive Creative Director. Throughout her tenure at BBDO, she created award-winning work for iconic brands including M&M/Mars, AT&T, Pepsi, FedEx, Bank of America, Lowes, Pizza Hut, Armstrong Flooring and Visa.

Credle also sits on the Creative Review Committee of the Ad Council. In 2004, she was inducted into the AAF Advertising Hall of Achievement. Most recently Credle was chosen by Boards Magazine as one of their “Advertising Women of Excellence,” which recognizes leaders who have made significant creative and business contributions to international advertising.
