ConsumersWith details still emerging from the EF4 tornado that ravaged Moore, Oklahoma, SummitMedia in Greenville, SC is rallying listeners to donate to the victims of the storm during a fundraiser 5/22 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Employees from Summit’s four properties, 107-3 JAMZ, Chuck FM, X 98.5, and Hot 98.1, are preparing vehicles, tents, and tables for the monetary drive, and interim GM/VP of SummitMedia Greenville, Paul Bankston, believes the charity of the Upstate can positively impact the victims of the tornado.

“We know about the tragic loss our fellow Americans are suffering,” Bankston said. “Our stations in Birmingham suffered through the same issues two years ago. We know the people in Moore, Oklahoma, can count on the great folks in the Upstate area. Please join us in these relief efforts. In advance, we want to say thanks to you, our listeners, Ingles and the American Red Cross.”

The stations are partnering with the Red Cross, and all monetary donations will be sent directly to the aid of the storm victims. SummitMedia highly encourages residents to come by and show their support for the residents of Moore, Oklahoma.
