It was a terrific Tuesday for publicly traded radio and television companies on Wall Street, as the Dow Jones Industrials Average climbed 112.86, to 19,912.71, and the Nasdaq Composite increased by 48.01 points, to 5,600.96.
Among the key gainers was Netflix, which soared nearly 2%, to $140.11, and The Walt Disney Co., which jumped ahead 0.73%, to $107.90.
Decliners include iHeartMedia, which declined 1 cent, to $1.14
The RBR Radio Index rose 8.458, or 1.46%, to 587.519.
The TVBR Television Index rose 3.597, or 0.38%, to 950.122.
