Stern blasts Andy Dick for anti-semitic comments (audio)

…and it was on one of Howard’s SiriusXM channels: Stern fired back at comedian Andy Dick, who went on an anti-Semtic rant as a guest on the Greg Fitzsimmons (SiriusXM’ Howard 101) show 8/16, calling Stern “a shallow, money-grubbing Jew…I have no problem with his big fat hook nose…and his money-grubbing, miserly Jewishness.”

Dick told Fitzsimmons that Stern “used to be a really great friend” but is furious with Stern for trashing him after he hung up after a call-in appearance with Charlie Sheen earlier this year. Dick said Charlie had helped him. Both Stern and co-host Robin Quivers took shots at him after the call ended. Dick is also apparently mad at Stern for not keeping his show (The S#&t Show on Howard 101) on-air. He said Stern din’t go to bat for him when his show was canceled years back: “For two years I did the show, never got a cent, and I’m not complaining about that…I’m just saying the Jew facts. I never got paid,” Dick said.

Stern was told about Dick’s comments by one of his listeners while on air, and replied: “Yeah, well that’s where people like to go. It kind of points out where people’s heads really are…And let me point this out there isn’t a moment in my life I don’t know that, that is what is in people’s heads…It always comes down to the Jew. And scumbags like Andy Dick, and I hadn’t heard this yet, but I know what’s in their heads anyway.”

He repeatedly mentioned that Andy Dick should stop blaming the world for his problems and get his s%#t together. He also went through a laundry list of how Andy has lost friends; the nutty things he’s done and how no one is asking him on their shows—radio or television.

Listen to the audio here—but beware, Stern uses plenty of harsh and vulgar language.

This isn’t the first time Dick has gotten racist. In 2006 he eventually apologized for going on a racist rant using the N-word at an LA comedy club. Dick, who has been in and out of rehab for drug and alcohol, appeared on “Celebrity Rehab” with Dr. Drew Pinsky in 2008, was arrested in 2010 after being accused of grabbing a bouncer’s crotch, as well as groping and kissing a guy in a nightclub. Both Fitzsimmons and Dick had talked about Stern sponsoring Andy’s rehab. After hearing the remarks, Stern was not jumping at the opportunity, needless to say.

Dick was most recently arrested in May at a restaurant in Temecula, CA for disorderly conduct while allegedly under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Andy’s career peak was his sketch comedy series that aired on MTV (“The Andy Dick Show”) from February 2001 to May 2002.
