America’s Public Television Stations (APTS) is holding the 2019 Public Media Summit February 25-27, 2019 in Washington D.C. The theme of the 2019 Summit is A Celebration of Localism.
On Tuesday, February 26 at 8:00 a.m., House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) will be presented with the 2019 Champion of Public Broadcasting Award and provide remarks.
Hoyer’s appearance is a highlight of a two-day affair that began February 25 in Washington.
It follows an “Exploration of Next Gen Transition and Business Opportunities” featuring five panelists representing top public TV stations across the U.S.
