WELE-AM Ormond Beach, FL owner Doug Wilhite is back in jail facing a nearly $1.6 million bond after 15 new charges were brought against him. The new charges involve providing alcohol and pornographic movies to teenagers and watching them have sex.

Wilhite made bond after being arrested in July on a charge of engaging in sexual acts with a teenage boy. But while he was awaiting trial, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate other allegations.

On Thursday night, deputies showed up at Wilhite’s home again and served arrest warrants charging his with six counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child, five counts of showing obscene material to a minor, three counts of lewd or lascivious conduct and one count of lewd or lascivious exhibition.

According to the account by the Sheriff’s Office, Wilhite, an avowed nudist, refused to put on clothes and was taken to jail wrapped in a blanket. He is being held on bond totaling $1,556,000.

The new charges involve seven teenagers, described by the Sheriff’s Office as a mix of boys and girls aged 14-16. None claimed to have had sex with Wilhite, but five said they had gotten naked at his house at Wilhite’s insistence. All reported that the station owner had paraded nude in front of them, offered them alcohol, showed them pornographic movies and urged them to have sex while he watched. Some of them obliged.
