She’s a longtime Bay County, Fla., media sales professional who first gained notice as a Senior Account Executive for the Raycom Media-owned FOX affiliate serving Panama City. In June 2017, she departed for a crosstown role and most recently served as General Sales Manager of JVC Broadcasting’s radio stations in the market.
It turns out that leaving local TV after so many years just wasn’t in the cards for Stacie Bolster.
She’s returned to WPGX “FOX28” in Panama City and semi-satellite partner WDFX “FOX34” in Dothan, Ala., to the north — taking the GM role after last holding the position between March 2014 and June 2017.
“Returning to the station where my broadcasting career began is an incredible honor and a meaningful full-circle moment,” says Bolster, who also served as General Sales Manager of Nexstar-owned WMBB-13 in Panama City from early 2021 through February 2025. “Over the past two decades, I’ve built my career around innovation, strong relationships and exceptional service. I’m excited to lead the talented teams at WPGX and WDFX, build on their success and continue delivering trusted, compelling programming to our viewers and advertisers.”
The key difference between then and now for WPGX is its owner, as Raycom Media merged with Gray Media and, following that transaction, Lockwood Broadcast Group agreed to purchase WPGX.
As such, Bolster will report to Lockwood President Dave Hanna. He commented, “Stacie’s deep knowledge of the Panama City market, strong record of success and previous leadership experience at WPGX make her uniquely qualified to guide the both stations forward. She values local relationships, understands the importance of teamwork and shares our commitment to serving the community. Bolster had been named JVC’s General Sales Manager on June 1, and exited after two months in that role.
