For the last several weeks, the spot for TV spots for one of the nation’s leading auto insurance specialty companies has been national Spot Cable. For the final week of May 2026, it has company — from a category peer that recently recruited actor J.K. Simmons as its spokesperson.
That would be Farmers Insurance, which appears in the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report as determined by the iHeartMedia-owned ad tracking service.
Some 41,208 spot plays were detected for Farmers, compared to the top-ranking Liberty Mutual Insurance total of 64,440.

Other top activity as seen above involves Chase, the financial institution; and Tempur-Pedic, the mattress brand.
How does the Spot Ten TV report compare?
Once again, Morgan & Morgan is the big leader by play count, with Pharma brands again strong as limitations on their appearance in digital and streaming media are leading media buyers to broadcast TV.

The overall leader, again, is Liberty Mutual. However, it’s key category competitor in Spot TV is Progressive.
