On the eve of the 40th Annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Collector Car Auction, SPEED and Barrett-Jackson Auction Company have agreed on a new deal, extending their broadcast partnership through 2014. This year, SPEED will deliver more than 100 hours of live coverage from Barrett-Jackson events in Scottsdale, West Palm Beach, Las Vegas and Orange County, CA, beginning with 40 hours from this year’s 40th Anniversary event in Scottsdale on Jan. 18-23.
SPEED began airing Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auctions with five hours of live coverage from Scottsdale, AZ in 1997; just one year after the network went on the air.
