’So You Think You Can Dance’ gave Fox #1 Wednesday win

Dancing out skated the Stanley Cup finals and ‘SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE’ posted a 3.0/9 for the night among Adults 18-49 and was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. 


FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and all key female demos. SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was up compared to last week’s Wednesday performance by +7% among Adults 18-49 (3.0/9 vs. 2.8/9), +7% among Adults 18-34 (3.2/11 vs. 3.0/11) and +8% in Total Viewers (8.0 vs. 7.4 Mil).

Summer-to-date SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE shows impressive gains compared to its Fall’09 average on Tue/Wed, increasing +25% among Adults 18-49 (3.0/10 vs. 2.4/7), +24% among Adults 18-34 (3.1/11 vs. 2.5/8), +42% among Teens (1.7/7 vs. 1.2/5) and +31% in Total Viewers (8.1 vs. 6.2 Mil.)

Competition
ABC ran repeats of The Middle at 8p (1.2/4) and 830p (1.4/4), followed by repeats of Modern Family (1.7/5) and Cougar Town (1.2/3). An original Happy Town posted a 0.8/2 at 10p.

CBS aired special repeats of How I Met Your Mother (1.2/4) at 8p and Rules of Engagement (1.3/4) at 830p, a repeat Criminal Minds (1.9/6) at 9p and a repeat CSI: NY (1.8/5) at 10p.

Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for NBC are approximate. NBC’s Stanley Cup Finals: Chicago Blackhawks vs. Philadelphia Flyers ended with Game 6 posting a 2.9/9 from 8-11p, about even with last year’s series-deciding Game 7 (Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Detroit Red Wings on Friday 6/12/09), which delivered a 3.0/11 from 8-11p in the Fast Nationals before rising to a 3.4/12 from 8:15-11p in the Finals.

The CW showed back-to-back repeats of America’s Next Top Model at 8p (0.6/2) and 9p (0.5/1).
