Slacker teams with The Weather Channel

Slacker RadioSlacker has launched customizable forecasts and updates from The Weather Channel. The new station from The Weather Channel can be set by location and is available now for Slacker on smartphones, tablets, in-car infotainment systems, consumer electronics devices and on the web at www.slacker.com/station/the-weather-channel.


TWC joins ABC News and ESPN sports content on Slacker, giving listeners the ability to blend news, sports, talk and weather with music and music channels.

The Weather Channel station on Slacker will deliver national and regional weather news based on a Slacker users Zip code, but can be set for any region. The comprehensive forecasts are available for 22 markets across the Unites States and will be updated four times a day. Each forecast features current conditions, short and long range forecasts as well as coverage of severe weather events.
