Skyview Networks has officially wrapped its annual sales conference, held at its Scottsdale, Ariz., headquarters earlier this week.

Company execs tell RBR+TVBR that the conference “was incredibly well attended” by Skyview’s industry partners, who obtained “insight and in-depth knowledge” from presentations that serve as a preview of sorts to Skyview’s 2024 Upfront in October.

For Skyview, the event served as a gathering attracting those in broadcast radio eager to learn how to best compete for ears in a world where digital, streaming, and artificial intelligence platforms generate opportunities for further growth.

Jeanne-Marie Condo-Bucknell, Skyview Networks’ President of Network Partnerships and Chief Revenue Officer, spoke to the benefits of collaborating with the networks Skyview reps.

“Our amazing industry partners and unparalleled team of sellers and support team are a driving force in revenue generation,” she said. “When we come together, there is an incredible amount of client creativity. With Skyview, you expect the best. The undeniable talent that shined this week shows the magnitude of our position in the industry, the strength of radio overall, and how far we can continue to grow together as the future of broadcast evolves.”

Skyview President/CEO Steve Jones opened the conference by celebrating radio’s unity and strength. “Radio continues its dominance as the leading audio source for consumers across all media platforms and demographics,” he said. “Skyview’s unique influencers and iconic brands creatively engage audiences to produce remarkable results for our affiliates and advertisers.”

Following Jones’ “State of the State” address were a wide range of presentations focused on the biggest industry trends and challenges shaping audio, along with digital solutions for expanding the scope of consumer reach. Leading two of the discussions surrounding the current state of radio were keynote speakers RAB SVP/Business Development Tammy Greenberg and NAB CEO Curtis LeGeyt.

Greenberg gave conference attendees a roadmap of key revenue drivers and fundamental sales strategies, while LeGeyt detailed his ongoing and unrelenting efforts to advance the interests of radio while highlighting the vital role of broadcasters in the communities they serve, Skyview shared with RBR+TVBR.

PROMOTIONS TO VP/NETWORK SALES SEEN

In addition to the presentations was the promotion of two of Skyview Networks’ veteran sales executives, Barry Fischer and Mark Frank, to VP of Network Sales.

“Since joining Skyview in 2019 and 2018 respectively, both have showcased tremendous dedication to expanding the company’s sales business portfolios and showcasing the strength of audio to their agency partners,” Skyview said. “With extensive industry knowledge, Fischer and Frank have helped to elevate Skyview’s sales division, cultivate trusting relationships with buyers and grow the reach of audiences nationwide with some of the most distinguished brands.”
