The regional sports network owned and operated by the entity formerly known as Diamond Sports Group has named an Executive VP of Team Partnerships for the networks in its South and Southeast regions, its largest.
Taking the post for FanDuel Sports Network in the areas is Steve Simpson. He currently leads team partnerships for the network’s West/SoCal, Southwest/Oklahoma and Midwest/Kansas City/Indiana regions.
Network parent Main Street Sports Group is making the move to fill a void left by the retirement of Jeff Genthner. As such, Simpson will be responsible for partnerships with the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Hurricanes, Memphis Grizzlies and Nashville Predators.
In addition, FanDuel Sports Network announced a strategic evolution in leadership titles, transitioning from General Manager to Executive Vice President of Team Partnerships. “This change underscores the network’s commitment to prioritizing team relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration with key partners to drive regional and local initiatives,” Main Street Sports Group said.
