There will be a second season of a one-on-one interview series airing on the digitally distributed Scripps News offering hosted by a journalist whose past experience includes high-profile roles at CNN and, before that, FOX News.
Connected with Alisyn Camerota will make its Season Two debut on Tuesday, October 13, in the 7pm Eastern slot. The 2026 season is comprised of seven episodes, airing through December 1, with a mission “of creating meaningful conversations that reveal the human stories behind the headlines.”
The first 30-minute episode of the new season features a conversation with veteran actor and singer Harry Connick Jr.
The schedule of subsequent shows is as follows:
- Oct. 20: Rabbi Jeffrey Myers of Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Congregation and Rev. Eric Manning of Mother
Emanuel AME Church, discussing faith, healing and leadership in the aftermath of tragedies that forever
changed their communities - Oct. 27: Eva Benefield, daughter of a victim in the widely publicized “Black Swan” murder case
- Nov. 10: Jack Goldburg, founder of Jack’s Dining Room and food influencer who co-founded “Yes Chef”
- Nov. 17: Nicole Hockley, co-founder and CEO of Sandy Hook Promise
- Nov. 24: Ali Feller, running and fitness podcaster, entrepreneur and breast cancer survivor
- Dec. 1: Yet to be announced special guest
There will be no new episode on Nov. 3 due to Scripps News’ coverage of the 2026 midterm elections.
Each episode is also available on the Scripps News YouTube channel.
Camerota was an anchor of CNN’s morning show New Day, co-host of the afternoon edition of CNN Newsroom, and host of CNN Tonight from 2022 to 2023. Prior to CNN, she was a presenter at Fox News.
