SCOTUS Refuses To Consider NRB’s Royalty Rate Hike Fight

With a simple “Petition DENIED” notification, the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday (6/24) declined to consider a case brought to the nation’s highest judicial body by the National Religious Broadcasters’ Noncommercial Music License Committee against the federal Copyright Royalty Board on the grounds that higher rates levied against NRB members were unjust.
