Scoles Promoted To EVP at Paramount Advertising


He manages Paramount’s Advanced Advertising business, including sales, operations, data science, engineering, and product for several key advertising platforms — Vantage being the flagship.

A LinkedIn post publicly shares what Paramount employees learned this week via an internal memo: He’s been upped to EVP/Advanced Advertising.

The upward shift from SVP/Advanced Advertising for Travis Scoles comes in recognition of his efforts at the Paramount unit focused on convergent optimization, identity, cleanroom/data collaboration strategy, new currency and measurement innovation. “Advanced Advertising specializes in maximizing the value of our client’s data against Paramount’s leading content and audiences,” Scoles said on LinkedIn.

Scoles has been with Paramount in its current incarnation since February 2022. Before that, he was SVP/Product Management for Advanced Advertising at the former ViacomCBS. That role came in February 2020, following 8 1/2 years at Schireson, an advanced advertising-focused company.

Scoles started his career as a Project Analyst for Kantar Retail (Cannondale Associates) in August 2008, rising to Director of Client Services in July 2010, a role he had for one year.
