Spanish Broadcasting System has blown up Clasica 92.3 FM for the more updated Z92 “Zalsa y Más!” (WCMQ-FM) in Miami. The Z is blended into the moniker, “Salsa and More,” and targets South Florida’s young Hispanics in the 25-64 demo. Z92 provides its listeners with a wide variety of genres and music including salsa from Marc Anthony, Willy Chirino, Oscar D’ Leon and other tropical sounds, from artists such as Juan Luis Guerra and more. The new imaging voice is carried by the international salsa star, Willy Chirino.
WCMQ- Z92 FM’s format primarily features salsa with a blend of other music genres. Z92.3FM becomes the second SBS Radio station broadcasting a market-specific version of “Z93” format, a sister station in Puerto Rico with similar format ranks among the top 3 on the island.
Z92 will also feature some of the hottest and most dynamic on-air talent in South Florida. Talent line-up will be announced in the coming days.
Z92 joins the SBS Radio Miami family with sister stations such as WXDJ Zol 95.7FM, WRMA Romance 106.7FM and WRAZ Cima 106.3FM.
