Sam Rogers has been named vice president, National Sales and Corporate Partnerships for CBS Radio.
Rogers has a lot of political sales experience.
His new job starts on Oct. 12.
This is a return to the company for Rogers, who spent more than two decades (1988-2011) in a variety of management positions, most recently as Senior Vice President/Market Manager, CBS Radio Washington, D.C.
He comes to CBS from Radio One, where he’s been Vice President of National and Corporate Sales since 2013 and Prior to that, he was Vice President of Political and Platform Sales at Cumulus Media from 2011-12, and General Manager of WMAL/WRQX, Washington, D.C. Rogers also managed political sales during the 2012 election cycle.
