Salem Radio Network Chosen As a Third GOP Debate Partner

On November 8, the third Republican Party presidential primary debate will take place roughly one hour’s drive south of Mar-a-Lago, home to GOP frontrunner and former President Donald Trump. While he may not be there, those that seek to nibble away at his commanding lead in the polls will.

Delivering what they have to say to America will not only be NBC News, but also the radio network tied to the publicly traded audio media and publishing house focused on Christian and conservative-themed content.

Salem Media Group‘s Salem Radio Network is one of four partners selected by the  Republican National Committee (RNC), along with the Republican Jewish Coalition, Rumble and the aforementioned NBC News, which presented the first Democratic Presidential Debate in the 2020 U.S. presidential election at the same venue the GOP is using for its third affair:  Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County in downtown Miami.

“The partners for our third debate will offer our candidates an excellent opportunity to meet the moment and contrast their plans and vision with ‘the failures of’ the Biden White House,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said.

Rebecca Blumenstein, President of NBC News Editorial, declined to take a swipe at the current administration in her comments. “NBC News has a long history of fostering conversations with the leaders that seek to shape domestic politics and foreign policy,” she said. “For us, there is no higher responsibility. We look forward to continuing our leading reporting on the 2024 presidential race and spotlighting the issues that matter most to voters as they head to the polls.”

The same can be said of Salem Media Group CEO Dave Santrella, who is the Radio Chair for Forecast 2024, the media industry executive summit scheduled for November 15 at the Harvard Club in New York.

“Salem Media Group and the Salem Radio Network are honored to be chosen by the Republican National Committee to be a part of this historic Republican presidential primary debate,” Santrella said. “Salem is an experienced partner of the RNC, having co-moderated four RNC debates in 2015-2016. We look forward to working closely with NBC News and other selected partners to deliver an event that will shine a light on the candidates and educate voters ahead of the primary.”

As with the first and second debates, Rumble will be the exclusive RNC livestream provider and the RNC’s exclusive online home for the third debate.
