The streaming television operation of one of the nation’s biggest purveyors of Christian and conservative secular spoken word content has gained a “Big Tech” distribution boost, expanding the reach of the fledgling network to “millions of viewers.”

As of Wednesday (3/3), Salem News Channel can be found on Amazon Prime Video.

It is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel, and it can be located within the “Live TV” section of Amazon Prime Video, where the channel joins a growing selection of news and informational programming that remains devoid of live and local broadcast TV stations, creating consumer confusion and growing headaches for over-the-air television station licensees.

Salem News Channel features live news coverage, interviews, and commentary from leading conservative and Christian voices and Salem personalities, delivering perspective on the stories shaping the nation and the world.

“Expanding Salem News Channel onto Prime Video allows us to bring our programming to one of the largest streaming audiences in the world,” said Cary Pahigian, Salem News Channel Vice President and General Manager. “As more viewers shift to streaming platforms for news and commentary, we are focused on ensuring Salem’s voices and perspectives are available wherever audiences are watching.”

SNC launched in 2021, added its first news anchor in Summer 2022, and added linear TV distribution in 2024 via a group of low-power TV stations owned by HC2 Broadcasting.
