A former VP/Market Manager for Cumulus Media-owned stations in Youngstown, Ohio, who has also been GSM of iHeartMedia‘s stations in the city between Pittsburgh and Cleveland has just accepted a job east of the state line, in the Steel City.
Taking the job as GM for Salem Media Group‘s Pittsburgh station group is Brad A. Marshall.
He reports to Salem RVP Chris MacCourtney, who said, “Brad’s 25-year leadership track record with companies like Cumulus and iHeart has given him great experience in leading teams of media professionals. We believe he’s the right leader to take our Pittsburgh cluster into the future.”
Marshall’s other experience includes roles at Ohio Midland Newsgroup and Bridge Media Group in Steubenville, Ohio.
Marshall said, “Salem Media Group’s superior reputation and focus on delivering powerful content and results makes me excited to join the team.”
Marshall will oversee WPIT-AM and FM translator W243CW and WORD-FM, which offer Christian Talk and Teaching formats, and conservative-leaning News/Talk WPGP-AM 1250 “The Answer.”
