Rural Media Group, which owns and operates the world’s largest portfolio of rural media content, announced its new programming line up across its three networks, RFD-TV, FamilyNet and RURAL TV.

RFD-TV, rural America’s most important network for the last 12 years, is debuting 6 new series, including originals such as “Gentle Giants,” which features equine cameos from prized draft horses from around the world, including the famous Budweiser Clydesdales.  “Out on the Land,” takes an in-depth look at America’s changing landscapes and illustrates to layman and expert alike how ranchers, farmers and other landowners care for America’s precious land and resources.

With its recent acquisition of FamilyNet, Rural Media Group is offering a new slate of retro-classic series, including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Remington Steele and the much-loved Newhart.

RURAL TV entertainment on FamilyNet, will include a new block of “Saturday Night Music Row” series, including viewer favorites like The Marty Stuart Show and the Mollie B Polka Party, which has amassed a legion of fans throughout the country and is filmed in cooperation with the RFD-TV Theatre in Branson, Missouri.  For 2013, RURAL TV has expanded its key broadcast of the commodity and trading focused Market Day Report, as well as the RURAL TV Evening News slot, which now features more international content and rural lifestyle reports that are often egregiously overlooked by other cable news networks.
