Rosenberg again denied injunction

A California court has again turned down Screen Actors Guild President Alan Rosenberg’s request for an injunction invalidating the SAG board’s firing of former National Director Doug Allen and appointment of a new negotiating committee. There is no word on any new talks with AMPTP, which had been put on hold because of the lawsuit brought by Rosenberg and other union members. “The SAG national board of directors will meet jointly with AFTRA on Saturday to discuss upcoming commercial contracts negotiations, and will have a SAG board meeting on Sunday. Both will be held via videoconference in Los Angeles and New York,” the union said late Thursday.
